The Role
The firm is seeking a detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join its Birmingham office. The successful candidate will support fee earners in managing a busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the management of residential conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
* Preparing contract packs and handling pre- and post-completion matters
* Conducting property searches and reviewing title documents
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
* Drafting correspondence and legal documents
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
Requirements
* A law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
* Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law role preferred
* Understanding of the conveyancing process and property transactions
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and client care skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
