National Account Manager – Grocery / Retail
£50,000 – £60,000 + package

D R Newitt have partnered with a fast growing branded food business that is continuing to strengthen its position within the chilled category.
As part of their ongoing growth plans, they are looking to appoint a National Account Manager to take ownership of key grocery retail accounts including Morrisons, Lidl and Ocado.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven NAM to join an ambitious challenger brand with strong category momentum and significant growth potential. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for account strategy, commercial negotiations and delivering profitable growth across the retail channel.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop key grocery retail accounts including Morrisons, Lidl and Ocado
* Full P&L responsibility across accounts
* Lead commercial negotiations including pricing and promotional activity
* Build and execute Joint Business Plans with retail customers
* Identify opportunities to drive category and account growth
* Work closely with Category, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams
* Deliver accurate forecasting and account planning
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience managing major grocery retail accounts within FMCG
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills
* Experience with P&L management and Joint Business Planning
* Ability to build strong customer relationships and influence stakeholders
* Driven, resilient and highly organised
* Passion for working within a fast-growing branded food business
Package
* £50,000 - £60,000 base salary
* 10% company bonus
* Car allowance
* Hybrid working – 2 days a week on site
