Operating primarily from our Bristol City centre offices, we are seeking professional indemnity business developers with a proven track record of delivering results and who want to move their careers forward with a dynamic young company. Whilst the primary focus will be on developing our professional indemnity insurance account, a working knowledge of associated risks including D&O and cyber would be an advantage. The role will include: Working closely with our marketing teams, managing sector specific leads in our chosen specialities, liaising with prospective clients(largely expected to be firms with turnovers up to £50M / average premiums expected to be £40k) to convert leads through the successful placement of client insurance programmes. Preparing, reviewing and creatingpresentations, slips and cover notes to ensure accurate and timely documentation is passed to both underwriters and clients, and submissions to broke prospective risks to insurers Building and maintaining strong relationships with the insurance market, specific underwriters, intra group colleagues and clients Adherence to company standards and procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times Pursuit of insurance qualificationsas well as staying current with insurance market trendsand compliance with CPD requirements Attendance of training where required Representing Birchin tothe highest professional and ethical standards Excellent use of the company's technology suite, including Salesforce Travel as necessary for operational reasons Provision of the highest level of technical expertise and service to clients & prospects Accurate management & use of prospective and client data for development and marketing purposes Achieving pre agreed commercial targets and objectives
