Court of Protection Social Worker
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Social Worker to support individuals involved in Court of Protection proceedings. This role demands a strong understanding of complex legal frameworks and the ability to apply them confidently in practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Case‑holding Court of Protection matters, including 21A proceedings and Community DoLS.
* Collaborating with internal legal services and the DoLS team.
* Providing advice and guidance to colleagues on Court of Protection processes.
* Supporting complex decision‑making in line with best practice.
Required Knowledge:
* The Care Act 2014
* The Mental Capacity Act 2005
* Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), including Community DoLS
Desirable Qualifications:
* Best Interest Assessor (BIA) qualification.
* Practice Educator Qualification.
Adult Social Care Community Team – Social Worker
This role focuses on delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care through a strength‑based approach. You will carry out Care Act assessments and work closely with customers, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct Care Act assessments and develop person‑centred support plans.
* Manage your own caseload effectively.
* Participate in a duty rota and respond to urgent care enquiries.
Required Knowledge:
* The Care Act 2014
* The Mental Capacity Act 2005
Adult Social Care Community Team – Duty Social Worker
This fast‑paced role focuses on crisis intervention and resolution. The successful candidate will not hold an active caseload unless necessary and will manage urgent and unplanned situations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct Care Act assessments to identify needs and outcomes.
* Develop person‑centred support plans and conduct robust risk assessments.
* Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and professionals.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and appropriate interventions.
Working Arrangements:
* Office presence is preferred; applicants will need to visit the office as required.
* Hybrid working arrangements can be considered.

Eligibility & Application
Qualifications:
* Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England (SWE).
* Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Additional Information:
* ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment) candidates will be considered.

* Applicants must demonstrate CEFR level C1 spoken English.
* Enhanced Criminal Record Check required via DBS.
