Graduate Shift Production Manager – Food Manufacturing

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Production Manager to join our dynamic food manufacturing team. This role is ideal for an individual with at least three years of experience in food production or the FMCG sector who is eager to step into a leadership role and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and motivate production teams to maintain efficient workflows and uphold high-quality standards in food manufacturing.
·Oversee and manage production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining product integrity and consistency.
·Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control procedures.
·Monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and consumables to prevent shortages and maintain production flow.
·Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing Principles, including 5S/6S methodologies, to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
·Carry out regular team briefings to communicate production goals, process improvements, and safety updates.
·Manage staffing levels and shift planning to ensure consistent production coverage.
·Support operational duties as needed, stepping in to assist with production tasks and address any challenges.
·Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to optimize machinery performance and minimize downtime.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an ambitious and hands-on individual with a passion for food production and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have:
·At least three years of experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production.
·A degree in Food Production, Food Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
·A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC, GMP).
·Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
·Strong leadership and communication skills to engage and motivate production teams.
·A proactive and adaptable approach with a desire to learn and grow.
