Salary: £103,680 - 103,680 per year Requirements: Strong background as an Enterprise or Solution Architect within insurance or financial services Proven experience working across policy, claims, billing, and underwriting systems Hands-on Guidewire architecture experience (Integration, Edge APIs, GX, Messaging) Strong understanding of API-led architecture, microservices, and integration patterns Experience leading architecture governance and working with senior stakeholders Background in legacy transformation and data migration programmes Experience on large-scale digital transformation programmes (nice to have) Knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance standards (nice to have) Cloud platform exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP) (nice to have) Responsibilities: Define and maintain enterprise and solution architectures across insurance domains (Policy, Billing, Claims, Underwriting) Create and maintain as-is and to-be architectures and transformation roadmaps aligned to business strategy Establish, govern, and chair Architecture Review Boards, setting architectural standards, principles, and policies Work closely with senior business stakeholders to ensure technology strategy aligns with product offerings and regulatory requirements Design API-first, microservices-based integration solutions across core insurance platforms Lead integrations between policy, billing, and claims systems (e.g. Guidewire) and internal/external platforms Oversee the use of Guidewire Edge APIs, GX Models, Messaging Framework, and Integration Gateway Support and lead data migration and legacy modernisation, ensuring smooth transition to modern insurance platforms Technologies: API AWS Architect Azure Cloud GCP Support microservices More: We are currently supporting a large transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Enterprise/Solution Architect with strong insurance domain expertise to join our major modernisation initiative.
