Opportunity to join our 'Outstanding' Fostering Team in a leadership role as an Assistant Team Manager, contributing to our mission that focuses on recruiting, assessing, supervising and therapeutically supporting foster carers. This is a great opportunity for a skilled and knowledgeable practitioner who has the passion to deliver a relational outcome-focused fostering service in Wiltshire.
In this role, you will be supervising Social Workers, overseeing their work with foster carers and often vulnerable children, young people, and their families. Duty management will be a key aspect of this role, overseeing home-finding and suitable matching of children who require a foster family.
You will have prior experience in Children's services, particularly in Fostering and/or Kinship, along with an expertise in conducting complex assessments and a strong understanding of safeguarding. Furthermore, a proven track record of both professional and personal development is desired.

This position comes with a 10% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
Your substantive manager must agree to you transferring to the secondment role. This agreement must be sought in principle before applying for the seconded role. If the secondment will impact significantly on service delivery, your substantive manager may not agree to the secondment.
