About the role
We have an amazing opportunity to become our Metering Commercial Manger in our Metering Operations function.
You will be accountable for all metering related contracts with significant impact on the success of metering activity, managing a portfolio of up to £15million per year. This will include contracts for the supply of meters, smart communication infrastructure, install resource and Non-Household meter reading.
We’re looking for you to be accountable for the day-to-day management of performance against the contracts ensuring that supplier relationships are maintained, contractual obligations are delivered, and excellent contractual governance is administered.
You will lead on the continued maturity and growth of our commercial management approach developing and managing effective commercial controls, performance reporting and management of risk to ensure we deliver best value outcomes for our customers in collaboration with our partners.
Please note - The role can be based in either our Head Office in Essex or Durham.
About you
To be successful in this new role, we’re looking for you to have a proven experience in end-to-end contract and/or commercial partner management.
We’re looking for you to have the ability to demonstrate a track record of managing key supplier relationships and experience of driving real time solutions to escalated events, problem solving where the route to resolution might not be clear and defined.
You’ll have experience of working collaboratively to drive exceptional performance against targets influencing others to deliver against common goals.
You’ll have excellent data analysis and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
It would be useful if you had an understanding, qualification or experience in managing NEC4 contracts including contract management, cost management and project management procedures.
