About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times. You will be part of a close-knit team who work together to create a safe, homely and supportive environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
* Supporting mobility and safe transfers
* Assisting with meals and hydration
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Engaging residents in meaningful activities
* Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns to senior staff
* Promoting independence, choice and dignity at all times

.Requirements
* Previous experience in senior or general care within a care home setting is preferred
* Supervising or leadership experience is highly desirable
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
* Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation duties
* Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life
* Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities where necessary

Pay: £12.55-£13.55 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
