Foster Carer - Leamington Spa
We are an independent fostering agency with a registered office based at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. From this central location, we are able to coordinate local services for our foster carers across the region. We are actively seeking foster carers to join our team from across the West and East Midlands.
We work together with foster carers, passionate about enhancing the lives of children and young people, ensuring they are supported to enjoy their childhoods and that every child has a safe and nurturing place to grow and achieve. As a foster carer, you will look after children in your own home on either a short‑ or long‑term basis, fulfill care plans in conjunction with a wider team of professionals, transport children to nursery or school and build relationships with teachers and key staff, support them to spend time with their birth family members and promote their activities and interests.
We expect foster carers to have some experience of working with children and young people, whether on a personal or professional basis. Relevant professions include teaching, nursing, support work and caring.
We are committed to finding individuals and families who reflect the diverse communities in which we live. Your sexual orientation, marital status, age, religion, culture and ethnicity are not determining factors and will be explored further as part of the fostering assessment process.
We understand that becoming a fostering family is a life‑changing decision, and from experience we believe that the first step is choosing the right people to work with. Getting this right will mean that you and your family are supported through your journey. If you want to make a difference to the lives of children, and you are looking to join a family‑friendly, embracing and professional agency, apply today.
