Job Description
This is a full-time, permanent Mortgage Administrator position based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, offering a salary of £35,000 per year plus a bonus scheme.
Key Role Details
* Location: Hamilton office (In-person)
* Salary: £35,000 per year + generous bonus scheme
* Hours: Approx. 40 hours/week (Mon-Thu: 9 am-5 pm, Fri: 8 am-3 pm)
* Start Date: ASAP
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Case Management: Progressing mortgage applications from submission to legal completion.
* Support: Providing administrative support to the sales team and liaising with Mortgage Advisers
* Communication: Acting as the primary contact for client, lender, and conveyancer queries
* Compliance: Ensuring all files and activities meet regulatory requirements
* System Maintenance: Updating and maintaining CRM systems and client file
Requirements
* Experience: Proven administration experience within a mortgage or financial services environment (2+ years preferred)
* Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and IT skills (Excel and Word)
* Knowledge: Experience in packaging 2nd charge mortgages is beneficial
* Attributes: High attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player
