Pitch is delighted to be exclusively supporting this fantastic e-commerce business based in Rugeley who are looking for a Data and Insights Manager to join their team. The business is a top seller in their category within the health and wellness market, and this is a brand-new role within the team.
They're looking for someone who's not just great with data tools, but genuinely excited about the power of data to drive smarter decisions, stronger performance, and better customer experiences across the entire e-commerce business.
This is a cross-functional role where you'll work with every department across sales, marketing, product, stock control, purchasing, production and fulfilment to understand what the data is showing, create dashboards that update in real time and provide insights on what the business needs to do next to drive growth, efficiencies and exceptional customer experience.
What you'll be responsible for:
* Collaborating with teams across all departments
to create dashboards, reports, and visualisations that drive clarity and guide better decisions through insights and recommendations.
* Build intuitive, self-serve tools that empower users to explore their data—whether it's tracking revenue targets, managing stock levels, or analysing digital marketing activities and customer data.
* Use your knowledge of data analysis to evolve the reporting infrastructure.
* Be the data champion and provide best practice techniques and ensure data integrity is always a priority.
* Support stakeholders in understanding and using insights effectively.
What experience is required?
* A background within an eCommerce/ retail business is highly desirable.
* Experience working in a previous data and insights role- this could be as a customer insights manager, marketing analyst, digital analyst, commercial insights manager etc.
* Experience of using GA4 along with Power BI, Looker and Tableau or similar is essential.
* Experience or interest in the health and wellbeing/nutrition market would be advantageous.
* Agency or in-house experience.
You'll have a strong commercial focus, be able to translate complex data into actionable insights and reports and be comfortable communicating insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
