Key responsibilities
* Take ownership of invoice processing and supplier payments across assigned entities
* Manage accounts payable activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong supplier relationships
* Prepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies where needed
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
* Provide cover for employee expense processing when required
* Maintain accurate financial records and support general finance administration
* Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and controls
* Collaborate with colleagues across the business to provide dependable finance support
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who can quickly become a dependable member of the team, particularly within accounts payable, and who is confident working with minimal supervision.
You will likely bring:
* Around 2-3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts payable role
* A relevant qualification (AAT, ICB, IAB, or similar; a degree is not essential although welcome)
* Experience with invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations
* Exposure to month-end processes
* Familiarity with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle), or a strong aptitude for systems
* Solid Excel skills and strong attention to detail
* A proactive, team-oriented mindset
