Job Advert: Learning Support Assistant - Nursery (Primary School, Suffolk) Location: Suffolk Start Date: Immediately after the half term break Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Pay: £90-£95 per day About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our nursery team within a welcoming primary school in Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and training, with a genuine desire to support the early development of children aged 3-4 years. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and other nursery practitioners to create a positive, nurturing environment that helps every child reach their full potential. Responsibilities and Duties As a nursery Learning Support Assistant, your duties will include: Supporting the daily care, learning, and development of pupils aged 3-4 Assisting with implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum Creating engaging and stimulating learning activities tailored to individual needs Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment Encouraging children's independence, confidence, and social skills Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers Supporting children with additional needs under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO The Ideal Candidate We are seeking someone who: Is enthusiastic, nurturing, and patient Has experience in early years education and training or relevant childcare experience Understands the needs of children in the early stages of learning Works well as part of a dedicated team Holds a relevant qualification in childcare, early years, or education and training (desirable) Why Join Us?
