Job Overview
As a Sous Chef at Marston’s, you will support the Head Chef and manage the kitchen during service, leading the line cook team and ensuring food quality and service excellence.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
* Run the line during service and be accountable for food quality.
* Oversee, organise, and develop the kitchen team.
* Maintain the highest standards of food and service.
* Support the Chef Development Programme, preparing for potential progression to Head Chef.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a branded kitchen or as an experienced Commis Chef.
* Capability to step in for the Head Chef when needed.
* Leadership and communication skills.
* Passion for food and service excellence.
Salary & Working Hours
* Up to £12.71 per hour.
* 35 hours per week.
* Reliable hours contract with CDP career progression to Head Chef and Privilege card discount.
