Placement Overview
We offer university students the chance to complete a 6+ month industry placement within one of our luxury boutique hotels. The placement is intended for students pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism, or Business.
Who is this for?
Students seeking a structured practical experience as part of their degree programme, whether a sandwich year, extended internship, or bespoke placement.
What you’ll be doing
* Work across key operational departments in a structured and flexible manner.
* Food & Beverage – assist experienced teams in award‑winning restaurants, contributing to outstanding dining experiences.
* Front Office – support reception, porterage, and guest services, shaping the guest journey from arrival to departure.
* Bespoke Rotational Placements – for longer placements, receive exposure to multiple departments, focusing on your areas of interest (primarily Food & Beverage or Front Office).
What you’ll need
* Currently enrolled in a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or Business.
* Prior hospitality or guest‑facing work experience in the UK.
* Commitment to delivering a five‑star guest experience.
* Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
* Professionalism, willingness to learn, and genuine enthusiasm for the industry.
What to expect
* Full‑time role: minimum 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Shifts may start as early as 6:00 am and include late finishes.
* Weekend working is expected, with time off scheduled accordingly.
* Fast‑paced, supportive environment encouraging initiative and growth.
* Live‑in accommodation is not provided; students must arrange their own living arrangements.
