The Opportunity
Your primary role is to safely operate the forklift truck, ensuring the safe, effective and efficient loading of shunt vehicles. Key responsibilities include carrying out pre-start checks as outlined in the start up checklist and completing relevant documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing finished good pallets from the packing hall, applying correct labels, supplying lines with appropriate packing and consumables, removing previously used pallets and safely loading and unloading finished goods, packaging, pallets and tote bags.
Qualifications / Requirements
To be successful in your application, you must demonstrate that you can work both within a team and use your own Initiative, have knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures, hold a valid FLT licence and have excellent communication skills and basic analytical abilities. Flexibility with varying shift schedules is required.
