About the Role
Milk Education is seeking a resilient and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support students within a secondary school setting in Southend-on-Sea. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome behavioural barriers and re-engage with their learning.
You will work closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing consistent support, guidance, and mentoring to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
1. Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs
2. Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and trust
3. Work 1:1 and in small groups to implement behaviour support strategies
4. Support students both in and out of the classroom
5. Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and SENCO
6. Monitor, record, and report on student progress and behaviour
Requirements
7. Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or similar setting
8. Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
9. Ability to build rapport and act as a positive role model
10. Resilience, patience, and a proactive attitude
11. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
