We’re excited to announce an opportunity for an HR Compliance and Workflow Consultant to join our dynamic People Services team in Bolton, on a full-time permanent basis. This newly created role offers you the chance to make a real impact by working collaboratively across our teams to streamline and enhance our operational processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory audit requirements in SCALA, while efficiently managing workflows in MyWorkday to ensure our customers receive timely responses.
In addition, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance of our People Services outputs and identifying opportunities for training and upskilling. Work Location and Flexibility
You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means attendance at office locations, visiting clients, or industry events. We’re open to flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with GIA, Internal Audit, and KPMG to support department-wide audits with a 12-month plan.
2. Conduct call audits to ensure quality responses and legal compliance.
3. Manage the complaints process, self-audits, and GDPR data breaches.
4. Promote departmental learning through e-learning and act as the compliance liaison for People Services.
5. Triage cases in the HELP system and align services with SOPs.
6. Handle exception reporting, generate MyWorkday reports, and optimize R drive for best practices.
7. Scope digitalization and AI initiatives to address future technological needs.
8. Establish a structured working framework with regular reporting and organize Town Hall meetings for stakeholder engagement.

Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within HR compliance and understanding of internal/external audits.
* Skilled in dashboard reporting and data visualization.
* Sound understanding of Data Protection principles and risks.
* Experience in implementing service and process improvements.
* Proven experience managing senior stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).
* Proficient in Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and general IT tools.
* Knowledge of Data Protection Act, FCA Regulations, SM&CR, Right to Work, and Home Office Systems is advantageous.
* Eligible and authorized to work in the UK is a precondition.
