PepsiCo is looking for Sensory Sci Scientist to join 12 months FTC role (with possibility to extend) in Leicester.

Responsibilities
1. Work within team of Sensory Scientists and Managers to lead Sensory and Consumer Experience research for R&D Foods teams to drive product, package, and process design decisions.
2. Develop and execute compelling research plans to enable clear product / process design decisions for product development, while working closely with cross-functional partners to clarify proposition questions and to create joint learning plans as needed.
3. Work with Experience teammates with flexibility to ensure adequate resourcing of projects and respond to changes in project prioritization and business constraints.
4. Summarize results, interpret, make recommendations, and present results (written and orally) cross-functionally. Deliver recommendations based on the data to impact business decisions and influence the business agenda.
5. Collaborate across Experience to explore new capabilities which maximize productivity, increase agility, and drive new insights while sharing learnings across the broader organization.
Qualifications
6. Minimum of BS in Food Science, Food Engineering, Consumer Psychology, Market Research, or related technical discipline.
7. Work experience in a consumer research/insights role preferably in an FMCG environment dependent on degree
8. Deep knowledge of product testing methodologies with strong background in both Qualitative & Quantitative research methods.
9. Training and experience applying experimental design and statistics to sensory and consumer research.
10. Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Ability to interpret complex data and communicate key research learnings and implications clearly and concisely to all audiences.
