An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our busy GP Practice covering both Alness & Invergordon.
The post is integral to the multi-disciplinary teams working at a busy GP Practice. You will work under the supervision of the Practice Nurses and strictly in accordance with specific practice guideline and protocols, will assist the practice clinical team in the provision of comprehensive primary health care for patients including treatment, preventative care, screening and patient education.
The successful candidate will also work with the GPs, Advanced Nurses, Practice Nurses, Senior Practice Manager, Pharmacy Team and other Healthcare professionals to provide new and appropriate services to the practice population.
This is a part-time post of 15.4 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements. This post is fixed term until 21.03.27 covering a period of maternity leave.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
1. Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
