This is your chance to leverage your extensive experience in flood, water management, and drainage projects to create exceptional outcomes for a diverse range of clients, including National Highways, local authorities, and major projects like the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine.
Location
Salford - Office-based with some remote working options available.
Salary
£50,000 - £57,500 + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits.
Your Responsibilities
As our Principal Design Engineer, you will:
* Lead a talented team of designers in delivering high-value, high-quality drainage schemes.
* Support the Drainage Design Manager in executing the drainage strategy.
* Maintain the highest standards of quality and project controls established by the team and wider business.
* Apply the latest design standards and lessons learned to projects.
* Liaise with statutory and non-statutory bodies to obtain relevant data, licenses, and consents.
* Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement across the team.
* Monitor project delivery and manage change control effectively.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A Civil Engineering degree or a similar combination of qualifications and/or experience.
* Proven expertise in a similar role with a track record of successfully leading teams to deliver projects.
* A project management qualification and/or relevant experience.
