Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of accounts. Duties
* Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly recorded.
* Assist with preparing financial reports and statements for management review.
* Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
* Maintain organised documentation of all financial transactions for audit purposes.
Experience
* Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an Account Officer or similar position.
* Strong familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
* Experience handling accounts payable processes is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
