The Opportunity
Are you passionate about engineering and eager to build a rewarding career as a highly skilled engineer? Join our supportive team, where you will receive specialist on-the-job training from senior engineers and gain a formal college qualification. Many of our trainees have successfully developed into expert engineers with us.
What You'll Do
* Shadow experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience across a variety of assistive devices
* Attend maintenance visits, emergency callouts, and installations of patient hoists, stairlifts, domestic lifts, specialist beds, baths, and more
* Participate in in-house and manufacturer-led training programmes to continually enhance your skills
* Communicate professionally with clients, building strong relationships
* Maintain and repair disability equipment to the highest standards

About You
* Enthusiastic, practical, and eager to learn
* Hardworking, motivated, and seeking a long-term career
* Strong communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
* GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
* Based in Hereford
Salary
Salary will be reviewed based on relevant age and experience. Once fully trained and included on the on-call rota (1 in 12 weeks), you will receive an increased on-call hourly rate and be provided with a company van for work travel.
