This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter and Refer a Friend bonuses* As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll have a key role in helping students transition from living at home to fully independent living and ensuring all our accommodation users have the best possible experience when staying with us. Responsibilities include: Cleaning accommodation areas Reporting maintenance requirements Ensuring health and safety guidance is followed Acting as the face of the department, engaging with students and visitors You should: enjoy striving for high standards of customer service love working as a team be personable with a friendly approach It will be beneficial to have previous cleaning experience and knowledge of working within a hotel or student accommodation, but neither are essential. Further information This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis (36.5 hours per week) working on a 5 over 7 rota, however, we are flexible on working hours so please outline any specific requests on your application form. Cleaning is required in some areas at weekends, therefore there is an expectation to work weekends on a rota basis. Weekend rota work requirements apply mainly during the summer peak period.
