The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused and highly organized individual to join the Community Wellbeing Business Support team at Herefordshire Council on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
As a Business Support Officer, you will provide excellent customer service to staff and members of the public. You will support a wide range of administrative duties for teams across the Community Wellbeing Directorate, including processing incoming calls, distributing confidential documents, monitoring mailboxes, taking minutes for meetings, and ensuring the services run smoothly by responding to and resolving inquiries efficiently.
About You
* You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with a focus on high-quality customer service.
* Organizational skills are crucial to ensure that inquiries are dealt with promptly.
* You will be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* The ability to multi-task while producing high-quality work is essential.
* You will possess a wide range of IT skills and knowledge and have the ability to work on different systems.
* You will be able to record information using Excel spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail, to ensure that records are kept up to date.
