Job Description Supporting the CFO, the post holder will provide leadership and expert oversight in the delivery of the organisation’s financial governance and assurance framework. The role will strengthen financial stewardship, internal control, transparency, and risk management across the organisation, ensuring effective decision-making and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and best practice requirements Essential Criteria • Full member of a CCAB body (Chartered, Certified, Public Finance etc.) • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience working in a financial management role, to include: - Advising on financial governance activity - Management of financial risk and fraud prevention - Compliance and monitoring reporting • Excellent IT skills, including experience in using MS Word and Excel Desirable Criteria • Full membership of CIPFA • Certificate in Corporate Governance (or willingness to undertake) • Experience of working within a public sector or politically sensitive environment • Full current driving licence Please note, vacancies close at 12 noon on the specified closing date.** Please ensure to download a copy of the Job Description before the closing date.
