Job Vacancy: Packers & General Labourers - Furniture Manufacturing
Location: Stockport
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Our client, a leading furniture manufacturer based in Stockport, is expanding and currently seeking Packers, General Labourers to join their busy team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Moving timber around the yard and production area
2. Handling products up to 10 metres in height
3. Assisting the manufacturing team as required
4. General warehousing duties including:
5. Shrink-wrapping pallets
6. Feeding 150 units per day through a machine
7. Stacking wood onto pallets
️ Working Conditions:
8. The environment can be very warm during summer months
9. Rotating shifts across days and evenings
10. Overtime may be available regularly during peak periods
✅ Requirements:
11. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
12. Experience in a timber yard or similar environment is highly beneficial
13. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
