The Role: Take Ownership, Make an Impact As a Manufacturing Operative, you’ll have full “cell ownership”, meaning you’ll be responsible for the efficiency, quality, and safety of your production area. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include: Operating production machinery and ensuring smooth, efficient cell performance Leading and supervising agency staff within your cell Completing essential food safety, quality, and health & safety documentation Carrying out Critical Control Point (CCP) checks to ensure full product legality Maintaining high hygiene standards and following all site safety procedures This is an active role where your attention to detail and ability to think on your feet will really stand out. Shift Patterns & Pay To keep our fresh produce moving, we operate a rotating shift pattern: Shifts Days: 07:00 – 19:00 Nights: 19:00 – 07:00 Pay Rates Day Rate: £12.71 per hour Night Rate: £13.40 per hour Please note: rates are subject to an upcoming increase in line with National Minimum Wage changes. What We’re Looking For This is a fast‑paced, chilled environment (typically 5–6°C), so you’ll need to be comfortable working in cold conditions.
