Role Title - Senior Technical Support Specialist – Parcel Lockers

Location - London, Farringdon (Hybrid, 3 days in office)






Parcel Lockers are an integral part of our future and as the roll out continues to grow at pace, we are now looking for a Parcel Locker Technical Specialist to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of parcel locker systems.



This role combines a good understanding of hardware and software systems with the ability to provide high-level technical support and problem-solving for both internal teams and customers. The specialist will work closely with the engineering, operations, and customer support teams to ensure the system’s continuous and efficient operation.



As the Parcel Locker Technical Specialist, you will;



* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to parcel locker hardware and software.
* Lead the troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning locker systems.
* Provide advanced technical support to the team and customers.
* Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of new systems.
* Work closely with engineers and product teams to improve system performance and reliability.
* Monitor and analyse system data to identify and address potential issues proactively.
* Document technical procedures, fixes, and updates for internal use.
* Ensure compliance with all technical standards and regulations.

Skills & Experience

* Electromechanical Systems Expertise
Key abilities: Troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of lockers and related hardware.
* Networking and IoT Knowledge
* Key abilities: Configuration and maintenance of networked devices, IoT platforms, basic cybersecurity principles, and firmware updates.
* Problem-Solving & Technical Diagnostics
* Quick resolution of locker malfunctions or integration issues is essential to reduce downtime.
* Key abilities: Root cause analysis, use of diagnostic tools/software, and creating solutions that prevent recurrence.
* Customer & Stakeholder CommunicatioThe role involves supporting field teams, clients, or partners and reporting to leadership.
* Key abilities: Clear documentation, technical training delivery, status reporting, and translating technical issues
