We’re looking for a Legacy Manager to join our Legacy Administration team.
For over 125 years, we’ve worked to protect places of historic interest and natural beauty, with an annual conservation cost exceeding £570 million. We rely on donations and legacies to support our work. You’ll use your expertise to help us preserve these legacies and continue our vital conservation efforts.
We value thoughtful applicants, so please include a cover letter describing your experience and why you're excited about this opportunity.
What it's like to work here
Reporting to our Head of Legacy Administration, you’ll join a cohesive, specialist team of 5. You’ll support our strategy focusing on restoring nature, promoting equitable access, and inspiring action.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, with an expectation to attend the office. Flexibility exists regarding your base location. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week, details to be discussed at interview.
What you'll be doing
You’ll manage a caseload of restricted and complex legacies, adhering to policies and sector best practices. Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll liaise with diverse internal and external stakeholders to optimize income. You will also manage our Legacy Co-ordinator, supporting them to deliver first-line case management processes.
Full role details are available in the attached document. You are not required to have all listed skills and experience; it provides a comprehensive view of the role’s potential.
