Position Summary
Working Hours: Continental shift pattern (3/2), 12-hour shifts rotating between days (06:00-18:00) and nights (18:00-06:00), averaging 42 hours/week.
Salary: £55,000 per annum (including shift allowance).

Responsibilities
Main Accountability: As a Multi Skilled Engineer (Shift Technician), you will provide technical support to manufacturing, ensuring plant reliability through maintenance and continuous improvement activities, rotating on a continental shift pattern.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Perform planned and preventive maintenance using electrical, control system, and mechanical skills.
* Support site reliability by identifying failure modes, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
* Engage in proactive fault prevention and continuous improvement to meet KPIs.
* Support and mentor Manufacturing Technicians to develop their skills.
* Participate in site projects and change initiatives.
* Manage contractor activities, including permits and risk assessments.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
* Inducted apprentice with electrical bias, holding at least 18th edition qualification.
* City & Guilds 2391 certificate.
* Knowledge of SCADA, networking, and computer systems.
* PLC experience, preferably with Allen Bradley and Siemens.
* Multi-disciplinary engineering experience in FMCG preferred.
* Lean methodology experience is advantageous.
* Leadership and coaching experience.
* Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
* Team player with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Computer literate.
