As part of the ongoing commitment to improving patient care, we are redesigning our Hepatology screening pathway. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver health screening to patients at risk of liver disease and manage the clinical aspects of screening on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities
* Deliver health screening in an outpatient, ambulatory model across the Forth Valley.
* Manage the clinical aspects of screening including assessment of blood pressure, examination of injection sites, and FibroScan procedures.
* Adapt to unpredictable workloads and work varied patterns, including over 7 days, evenings, and weekends.
* Travel throughout the area of service delivery as required.
* Maintain professional and empathetic communication with patients who may face judgement and prejudice.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Reliable, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
* Competency in extended skills such as Fibro Scanning, phlebotomy, BP checking, and knowledge of TRAK and ordercomms (training provided).
* Good IT and literacy skills.
* Prior experience in a healthcare setting or a keen interest and potential will also be considered.
