Job Title: Registered Manager – Doncaster (New Home, DN9 Area)
Location: Doncaster, DN9 area
Salary: £48,000 per annum, with potential to earn up to £55,800 through performance-related Ofsted and occupancy bonuses.
Benefits:
* 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays
* Ofsted performance bonus: £3,000 for an ‘Outstanding’ report
* Occupancy bonus of £400 per month
* On-call payments: £25 per weekday and £35 per weekend on-call shift
Ofsted Rating: New home requiring registration

* Specialist provision for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Role Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our new residential children’s home in Doncaster. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and creating a supportive, safe environment for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the registration process and prepare the home for Ofsted inspection
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of children with EBD
* Recruit, train, and manage a skilled care team, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards to achieve and maintain Ofsted registration and rating
* Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management
* Liaise with external agencies, families, and professionals to support the wellbeing and development of the children
* Manage on-call duties with appropriate remuneration as outlined
Person Specification:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or senior leader in residential child care, preferably with children who have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
* Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and registration requirements
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
* Flexible approach to working hours, including willingness to undertake on-call shifts
