Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of scalable DevOps and cloud infrastructure solutions
* Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes
* Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and DevOps best practice across engineering teams
* Mentor, coach, and support junior and inexperienced DevOps engineers through hands-on guidance and technical leadership
* Support the development of engineering standards, operational processes, and platform governance
* Collaborate closely with software engineering, QA, security, and platform teams
* Monitor system reliability, availability, and performance across environments
* Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues
* Champion DevOps culture, continuous improvement, and automation-first thinking
* Contribute to technical roadmaps and long-term platform strategy
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong commercial experience in a senior or lead DevOps engineering role
* Proven experience mentoring or leading junior DevOps engineers or wider engineering teams
* Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
* Strong experience building xsngvjr and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
* Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
* Strong scripting and automation skills using tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
* Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability tooling
* Strong understanding of DevOps principles, security, networking, and system reliability
* Comfortable working within Agile delivery environments
