About the role The TA Placement Team is a vital part of the Council’s statutory homelessness functions. Our aim is to provide suitable interim and temporary accommodation to all customers that qualify for it, while also being transparent, visible and robust in our decision making and allocations. Haringey Council wants to meet the needs of our applicants at every stage of their involvement with us. Excellent knowledge of homelessness legislation, particularly as it pertains to s188 and s193 of the Housing Act 1996 is essential, with this knowledge being shared with the team to ensure best practice is maintained
