Summary of Role
The primary role of the Manufacturing Support Technician is to ensure the smooth operation of cleanrooms. They will ensure compliance to all applicable GMP guidelines, health and safety, and actively support continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Support Technician will also support site activities as required from time to time to meet business needs such as warehouse support and scale-up / scale-down technical transfer runs.
Essential Functions
* Provide ongoing maintenance of the cleanliness of the production facility:
* Routine cleaning operations
* Maintaining clean room stock levels
* Routine environmental sampling including cleanrooms and water systems
* Support the production operation including but not limited to:
* Material, product, samples and waste transfer operations
* Generation of material and process risk assessments (CoSHH and general risk assessments)
* Support the sourcing of equipment, raw materials and consumables for use in manufacturing projects
* Maintain personal Job Training Folder
* Provide cover to support other business functions as required in the warehouse.
Warehouse
* Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety and GMP
* Participate in the maintenance of the site pharmaceutical quality system by
* Raising change controls
* Raising deviations
* Conducting deviation root cause investigations
* Identifying CAPA
* Supporting quality risk management processes
* Periodic review of production documentation (BMRs and SOPs)
Education and Experience
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
A working knowledge of GMP production is preferred
Use of Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
