Main duties of the job Day to day, you will contribute to the Children and Young People's Emergency Department consultant clinical rota, providing senior clinical leadership on the shop floor and taking responsibility for the assessment and management of acutely unwell and injured children and young people. This includes leadership of paediatric resuscitation and major trauma, working closely with the wider Children's Hospital and Major Trauma Centre teams. You will be expected to demonstrate effective leadership across the multi professional team and play an active role in the education, supervision and development of doctors in training, advanced clinical practitioners, nurses and other learners within the department.
