The Personal Development and Wellbeing Team, based at our Ore Valley campus, are seeking a new team member to take on the role of Campus Support Officer (CSO). The successful applicant will work closely with a variety of teams, notably security, reception, facilities, safeguarding and curriculum, acting as a ‘first response’ to incidents on campus. The CSO’s key responsibilities include getting to know the student body, taking an approachable stance when challenging poor behaviour, and addressing wellbeing concerns. The CSO works alongside the wider wellbeing team to identify students who may require wellbeing or safeguarding support, ensuring accurate records are maintained. In addition, they will support their own caseload of students. Wider responsibilities include supporting curriculum teams in addressing behaviour concerns and non-attendance, as well as acting as a point of contact for external agencies and the local community.
