OTE £34,000 per annum (basic pay, overtime, on‑call allowance and bonuses)

About the Role
Due to continued growth and development, we are looking for customer‑focused people to join our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver effective solutions to waste‑water network and drainage problems.
Responsibilities
* Travel to residential sites via HGV in a two‑person team, powering a high‑pressure water jet for restoration.
* Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems.
* Record each job report correctly on specialist equipment.
* Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
* Deliver good customer service.
* Maintain good H&S practice while carrying out work.
* Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished.
* Comply with health and safety responsibilities, including PPE and safe site set‑ups, protecting employees, the public and road users.
* Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
* Liaise with the client regarding progress and updates.
* Work unsupervised in all weather conditions using correct PPE and lone‑worker systems.
* Dynamic risk assessment of site access and working conditions upon arrival.
* Provide support to colleagues.
* Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before and after use.
* Report any defects or malfunctions in regard to training.
* Carry out risk assessments and adopt a mature approach to risk perception.
* Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
* Perform any other reasonable ad‑hoc duties requested by management.
About You
The ideal candidate will be hard‑working, respectful and compliant with health and safety standards. Experience with high‑pressure jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA and confined spaces) are an advantage.
