With 17 branches, a strong on-line trading platform and centralised warehousing and distribution facilities Fane Valley Stores is Northern Irelands leading supplier of animal health and agricultural products to farmers and the rural community. Our aim is to exceed the expectations of our customers. We now invite applications for the following position based at our Head Office in Moira. Warehouse Operative Job Ref No: FVS/WO/06/25 The Role: This role will involve working within a busy warehouse, receiving goods inwards, processing orders and picking and loading orders ready for dispatch. Candidates will be required to work at a fast but accurate pace to keep up with strict deadlines. The Person: Have a good standard of education including numeracy and literacy skills; Be IT literate; Demonstrate attention to detail and a can-do attitude with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team; Have a full current driving licence valid in the UK; A forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided; Ideally have previous experience of working within a warehouse environment; An understanding of Northern Ireland Agriculture would be an advantage.
