Sales Engineer – Commercial and Industrial Heat Pumps and Chillers
Responsibilities
* Field sales role selling a distribution range of commercial and industrial (100kw+) heat pumps and chillers, plant supply only
* 50% of your time will be spent selling into M&E contractors, 50% winning specifications with M&E consultants (small element of FM and end user work)
* P redominantly a new business role, although you will inherit a pipeline of circa £3m-£4m
* Revenue target year one circa £500,000, year 2 £1m
* Typically project sizes £200,000-£400,000 (circa £100,000-£150,000 per chiller)
* Sector targets; commercial, industrial, healthcare and education
* Delivering high spec climate solutions
Ideal applicant / Qualifications
* Must have a proven track record in the sales of HVAC or renewable products
* Ideally sold heat pumps or chillers for commercial or industrial applications
* Mix of engineering and sales background may be advantageous
* Network of contacts within M&E consultants and M&E contractors
* Technical product knowledge but not essential and full product training will be provided
* Door opener/ new business hunter
* Autonomous and self-starter
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
* Highly organised, able to manage own day-to-day
* Energetic and passionate
* Team player
