We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, considering seasonal ingredients and current trends
Manage food preparation and cooking processes efficiently, maintaining consistency across all dishes
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards within the kitchen
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste and control costs
Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and high performance
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary environment, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive food production, preparation, and cooking expertise with a strong understanding of culinary techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Solid knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Previous experience in restaurant management or head chef roles is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management

Pay: £26,000.00-£31,200.00 per year
