This position is based at our Head Office. You must live within a reasonable distance to the office or be willing to relocate by the role commencement date.
This is a Maternity cover role.
Working in our busy Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the social media strategy for The Entertainer and Early Learning Centre. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to find opportunities to communicate and engage with our target market to deliver our commercial and brand messages. You will drive our brand awareness, customer engagement and loyalty.
You will be a commercial and strategic self-starter with creative flair and experience in owning campaigns and delivering to tight deadlines with limited supervision. Alongside an exceptional attention to detail and right first-time ethos you will also be used to the demands of working in a fast-paced organisation where flexibility is a must. As you will be leading a variety of campaigns and platforms simultaneously, your excellent organisation, planning, communication and stakeholder management skills will be key.
Skills & Experience
1. At least 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within a retail or sales-focused business.
2. Experience in managing social media agencies and content creation.
3. Good understanding of omni-channel retail and the opportunity social media provides.
4. Experience in planning budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
5. Good knowledge of Google Analytics.
6. Previous experience of communicating well-tuned messages to a parent audience is desirable.
Responsibilities
7. Deliver the social strategy for The Entertainer and ELC. We want our channels to be fun, so this is at the core of our social activity
8. Create captivating content for our social media sites
9. Development of campaigns using industry best practice that excite and engage our customers, drive loyalty and deliver value for our customers and the business.
10. Manage 3rd party relationships with external partners to drive performance and continuously improve the channels.
11. Aligning with internal stakeholders across the business, building relationships whilst securing buy-in to support the Social Media strategy. Ensure that social media fully supports the brand and commercial initiatives.
12. Develop and manage the channel activation plans whilst adhering to strict deadlines and managing a stringent briefing process.
13. Evaluate all campaigns, share findings and build upon past learnings for future success.
14. Adopt a test and learn approach whilst having a positive opportunity seeking mindset.
15. Share insight and channel performance weekly with the marketing and online team and wider business.
