Role Purpose
The Planning Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the supply of consumables and the flow of goods through the fulfilment centre. This includes prioritizing inbound inventory, distributing orders according to business and customer needs, and coordinating material requirements. The Planning Coordinator will also support the Funko UK EMEA business.
What You’ll Do:
* Organize workflow in the fulfilment centre to ensure accurate, complete, and timely order delivery to customers.
* Schedule the supply of materials and components to meet production needs and safety stock levels.
* Provide shipment pre-booking information to the logistics team.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful on-time order fulfillment.
* Resolve issues related to short picks and order lines below minimum fulfillment quantities by coordinating with Customer Service, Logistics, and Sales Managers.
* Report proactively on upstream blockers affecting order flow.
* Coordinate cross-functional efforts to address short picks from the warehouse.
* Manage procurement and system schedules for materials to meet VAS requirements.
* Maintain and update master data in the system, including lead times and item changes.
* Ensure full order delivery for special materials, escalating issues as needed.
* Raise purchase orders for specific items.
* Work with the warehouse to maintain inventory levels within defined minimum and maximum stock thresholds using MRP.
* Coordinate with marketing and sales for VAS-specific packaging needs, such as FSDUs and labels.
Waving of work
* Ensure orders are waved into the warehouse according to the schedule to support order collection.
* Provide visibility on workload to the warehouse proactively.
* Monitor and escalate failed waves, working with the DC to resolve issues promptly.
* Ensure work for 3PLs is submitted via EDI without failures.
* Manage KPIs related to work submission and schedule adherence.
* Track DC performance against the schedule.
* Escalate blockers in waving and collaborate with Operations to resolve them.
Scheduling
* Build and maintain the 14-day warehouse schedule.
* Influence logistics load creation and booking to support short-term production planning.
* Use capacity data from Operations to identify peaks and troughs within the schedule and manage short-term capacity to meet customer demands.
* Manage schedule accuracy and capacity utilization KPIs.
* Work closely with the Team Leader and Planning Manager to identify risks and opportunities within the schedule.
* Manage orders within the OTM system, including cancellations and modifications.
* Coordinate with Sales regarding replenishment orders entering the OTM system.
* Handle last-minute order amendments or cancellations in the system.
* Collaborate with Sales to identify opportunities to advance orders.
What You’ll Bring:
