EYFS & KS1 Teacher Cover (Part-Time – Autumn Term)

A primary school is seeking a flexible and experienced KS1 & EYFS Teacher to provide cover across Year 1, Year 2, and EYFS for the Autumn term. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who can adapt quickly and provide consistency across multiple classes, especially in settings with a high proportion of pupils with additional and high-level needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Monday: AM in Year 1, PM in EYFS
* Tuesday: Full day in Year 2
* Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS and Key Stage 1, adapting teaching to meet the needs of pupils with a range of additional needs.
* Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management across all year groups.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team.
* Ensure continuity of learning across both days.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1.
* Strong understanding of supporting pupils with high-level additional needs (SEND experience essential).
* Flexible, adaptable, and confident working across different year groups.
* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
Ideal Candidate:
* Comfortable working across multiple classes and key stages.
* Experience in SEND or inclusive classroom settings.
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
* Able to quickly build rapport with children and staff.
