Due to an internal promotion, my client, a leading consultancy in the Occupational Pensions sector, is currently seeking an experienced Client Manager to join their growing team. The role involves managing relationships with a portfolio of blue-chip clients and ensuring service levels and administration standards meet agreed expectations.
Responsibilities include:
1. Servicing a portfolio of key clients
2. Managing client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional revenue through extra services
3. Driving client retention through satisfaction and quality service
4. Acting as the main contact for client issues and improving processes and administration
5. Managing costs while maintaining competitive client fees
6. Recording profit and loss for each scheme in your portfolio
Applicants should have a proven background in the Pensions industry, especially in "Defined Benefit" schemes, and experience in relationship management. Excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of pension schemes and trustees' challenges, a positive, solution-focused attitude, strong commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills are essential.
