Overview
We are supporting a global enterprise software services organisation seeking an experienced SAP Real Estate Management (RE-FX) Consultant to join its remote support and engineering team.
This role focuses on providing advanced application support, troubleshooting, and enhancement services for SAP RE-FX environments across a diverse customer base. The successful consultant will work directly with business stakeholders and support teams to resolve complex issues, implement small enhancements, and ensure business-critical real estate processes continue to operate effectively.
Unlike traditional implementation projects, this position operates within a managed services model where work is delivered in response to customer demand. Consultants are expected to be comfortable working across multiple client environments, balancing incident resolution, change requests, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide L2/L3 support for SAP RE-FX, including incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
* Support lease-in and lease-out processes, contract accounting, lease administration, and real estate master data management.
* Investigate and resolve production issues while meeting agreed service levels.
* Analyse and implement enhancement requests and configuration changes.
* Support testing activities, including regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
* Work closely with SAP FI/CO, MM, and SD teams to support integrated business processes.
* Assist with system upgrades, support packs, and ongoing platform maintenance activities.
* Perform data analysis, system monitoring, and impact assessments.
* Create and maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.
* Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate solutions.
Required Experience
* 5+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong expertise in SAP RE-FX.
* Proven background in application support, AMS, managed services, or production support environments.
* Strong understanding of:
o Lease-In / Lease-Out processes
o Contract and lease management
o Contract accounting
o Real estate master data
o Integration with SAP FI/CO (GL, AP, AR)
* Experience managing incidents, service requests, and change requests through tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
* Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
* Experience supporting business-critical production environments.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience
* Spanish language skills (not essential)
* Experience supporting European customers and business processes.
* SAP S/4HANA RE-FX exposure.
* Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
* ITIL or structured service management experience.
