We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a committed and friendly school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils' learning, development, and wellbeing across the school. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
* Support pupils in class, individually or in small groups, to access learning
* Work closely with the class teacher to assist with planning and preparation
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Provide feedback on pupils' progress and behaviour to staff and parents
* Support children with additional needs as required
* Contribute to the wider school community and help with activities and events
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children in an educational setting (school experience preferred)
* A patient, flexible, and positive attitude
* Good communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.
* A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided)
