Job Description

IBEN Associate (2 Vacancies)

Permanent full‑time or 6‑month fixed‑term secondment (IBEN) positions based in Cardiff and The Hague. Open to candidates who can support the Global IBEN department’s talent management function across all four IB programmes.


Location and Working Style

IB (International Baccalaureate®) Global Centre, Cardiff and The Hague.

Hybrid working: office presence required one day per week.


About The Role

The talent management function of the Global IBEN department ensures quality services to schools by hiring, training and allocating educators to suitable IB events. The role supports educators on‑site and remotely, works closely with internal stakeholders, assigns educators to events, and maintains all IBEN data systems. The jobholder upholds the IB values and promotes the implementation of its mission.


Responsibilities

* Assign educators to IBEN assignments within agreed SLAs.
* Share event information with IBEN and relevant teams.
* Ensure all IBEN processes comply with legal, financial regulations and IB policies.
* Enter and maintain accurate data.
* Close IBEN queries aligned with organisational KPIs.
* Support projects and initiatives by providing data and information.
* Identify improvement opportunities with project teams.
* Recruit IBEN to meet service delivery needs.
* Complete all application stages to agreed standards and timelines.
* Share accurate information with other teams to support IBEN recruitment.
* Collect and provide feedback on process improvements.
* Support future planning and continuous improvement through data analysis.


Qualifications


Essential

* A first degree or equivalent.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Good communication skills and ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders.
* Demonstrable ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation and develop presentation skills.
* Experience in community building (networking, community support, event management).
* Good command of the English language.
* High degree of flexibility and adaptability in a small team environment.
* Ability to facilitate change and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Deliver excellent results within set deadlines.
* Design and review multi‑stage interconnected processes.
* Use data to identify opportunities and risks and justify decisions.


Desirable

* Demonstrable educational experience, ideally in a professional development capacity.
* Working knowledge of the IB and its programmes, centrally or regionally.
* Ability to work in French and/or Spanish.

* Relocation support and work‑permit sponsorship available
